Architectural surfaces, powered by solar intelligence.

Facades, spandrels, roofs and sound walls generate on-site power without compromising their intended architectural finishes.

ArchiSolar’s proprietary image-optimisation software, powered by our Nano-Layered, Micro Printed (NLMP) technology, processes digital imagery for precision integration onto architectural glass. This enables the replication of natural materials such as granite, marble, brick or wood, while maintaining reliable energy yields and compliance with global building standards.

Manufacturers license this process to deliver high-resolution architectural design materials that carry the intended finish while quietly powering the building.

BIPV becomes a fully fledged design material that carries the architecture while quietly powering the building.

Surfaces ArchiSolar's technology supports

CdTe thin-film glass turns facades, spandrels and sound walls into continuous solar surfaces, performing well in high temperatures and low light while maintaining a cohesive, tinted-glass appearance.
High-efficiency monocrystalline BIPV laminates act as opaque, coloured cladding, combining strong output with patterns that closely replicate granite, marble, brick or other solid materials.
CdTe-based glass with tunable transparency powers spandrel windows and curtain walls, delivering daylight and views while generating energy consistent with a standard solar array.

Integration, standards, and performance

ArchiSolar’s technology supports the use of laminated tempered glass, proven photovoltaic stacks and tested load and temperature ranges. Standard junction boxes, connectors, and compatible inverters make electrical integration straightforward for existing solar and facade teams.

Manufacturers can offer warranties of up to 10 years on materials and 25 years on power output, in line with mainstream solar industry expectations. ArchiSolar supports partners in aligning the technology with relevant glass, electrical and building standards inside their own certification pathways.

For manufacturers and partners

For glass and solar manufacturers, ArchiSolar licenses its image optimisation and print process so you can integrate it into current lines and create BIPV versions of products you already sell. Partners receive clear guidance on print settings, lamination stacks and electrical details so new BIPV ranges are straightforward to industrialise.
