Dr. Navid Mavaddat holds a Bachelor of Computer and Mathematical Sciences (Hons.) from the University of Western Australia, and a PhD in Information Technology from Edith Cowan University. He brings to ArchiSolar more than 20 years experience in scientific research and commercial software development. His PhD thesis involved the use of simulation of light transmission through multi-layered tissues together with Machine Learning for which he was awarded the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation Science Industry Fellowship. He is the author of a book chapter on utilising Simulation of biomedical signals for training Deep Learning networks as result of his PhD project. In addition to his experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Navid has extensive experience in Computer Vision, 3D computer aided design software design and web development.

Navid specialises in advancing printing solutions for ArchiSolar’s architecturally integrated BIPV systems, focusing on enhancing both aesthetic appeal and energy capture efficiency.
